Saldaña was recently awarded the Golden Globe Awards 2025 Winner for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role in any Motion Picture for Netflix’s Emilia Pérez.

Current Role
Saldaña is currently working on the second season of Lioness, Taylor Sheridan’s undercover CIA drama series for Paramount+. In addition to starring alongside Nicole Kidman and Morgan Freeman, she also serves as an executive producer on the project.
Executive Producer
Saldaña starred in and executive produced the independent film The Absence of Eden, directed by Marco Perego in his feature film debut.
As a producer, Saldaña co-founded Cinestar Pictures with her sisters, Mariel and Cisely. Their production credits include The Honor List (2018) from Lionsgate’s Studio, the comedy series The Gordita Chronicles, the limited series From Scratch in collaboration with Hello Sunshine, and two seasons of the animal-kingdom docuseries Mamas for the Roku Channel. They also produced the unscripted romantic shows Meet Me in Paris and its follow-up Meet Me in Rome, the Disney+ series MPower, which highlights the women heroes of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and the upcoming action-survival film The Bluff for Amazon Prime Video, in partnership with the Russo Brothers.
Philanthropist
In addition, Saldaña founded BESE in 2018, a media company created to support and amplify the voices of the Latin community by sharing stories of today’s America.
Walk of Fame
Saldaña received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2018. She was recognized as one of Time magazine’s Most Influential People of 2023.
Born in New Jersey and raised in Queens and in the Dominican Republic, Saldaña currently resides in Los Angeles with her husband and three sons.
