High-end fashion is not always easily accessible for plus sized women. As society continues to excel with diversity in fashion; fat shaming needs to be put to an end.

High-end fashion rental platforms are beginning to include more plus sized options in order to gain more exposure and recognition for widening their clothing size selections. Hurr is a UK based rental platform that is now adding over 700 new fashion pieces to their clothing line over a size 16. According to Hurr’s CEO, Victoria Prew, “One of the biggest challenges we face is trying to cater for the plus-size girl who loves fashion, wants to be part of sustainability, but also wants an elevated offering.” Other high-end fashion brands are beginning to follow in their footsteps including: Ralph Lauren, the parent company of Urban Outfitters, Banana Republic, and Ann Taylor.
