This is the funniest TikTok on wildly different motherhood aesthetics you’ll ever watch

The moms of TikTok are many but how they approach motherhood is not all the same. And, when it feels like momfluencers are being toxic, sometimes #MomTok comes through a more realistic parenting style.

One (brave) mom is going viral on TikTok for a hilarious video where she’s calling out all the moms who seemingly have it all together. TikToker @failing_full_circle, asks moms the ultimate question, “Where are you guys harvesting your grains from?”

“Sometimes I end up on the moms side of TikTok,” she begins, “When they’re like, ‘let’s make cereal for breakfast,’ and then they’re actually like shrucking cereal from scratch for breakfast and everybody’s wearing white linen.”

“I didn’t receive my standard issue white linen robe when we were all becoming parents, apparently I got this instead,” she continues. The woman backs away from the camera and reveals her whole outfit: a hoodie paired with oversized shorts which she reveals are actually her husband’s boxers. She’s rocking a clean face and a droopy bun.

“These are my husband’s boxers so it looks like I have a loose-sized vagina and that’s fine.”

And, you know, she’s not wrong (not about the boxers). Every once in a while I come across a mom on TikTok doing the absolute most (three cheers for you!). I’m talking perfect hair, glowy makeup, aesthetically coordinated pantry with labels on EVERYTHING, gleaming clothes sans baby spills and she somehow serves restaurant-level breakfast, lunch and dinner all made from scratch. There could be any number of children running around but, she’s not fazed.

“There’s a very stylistic element to all the videos where all the utensils are wooden,” she says, “They make sure to show off their jawline, all I have is chin hair and acne.”

The woman is holding her small dog in one arm when she adds, “And, they’re holding a baby the whole time. This is CiCi, she has dementia.”

Her young daughter can be heard in the background saying that she’s hungry. And, what makes this video even better is when she responds to her, “I’m cooking now, it takes time. I have to go harvest all the grains for your cereal, it’s gonna be a minute.”

“It sounds like a hater,” she explains, “But I’m not. I love those videos and I’m happy for them. If it makes you happy, I’m happy for you.”

“But I just want everybody to know that I cleaned up a milk spill with my sock today,” she ends.

If the comments section is anything to go by, her views on the moms of TikTok are pretty relatable.

“Omg! I lost it at “harvest your grains for cereal”

“The video after this was a mom making mozzarella and bread with her 4 kids from scratch. I relate to the sock milk clean up far more lol”

“You’re is the only momtok I want on my algorithm

“I feel like this is exactly what I look like 90% of the time”

“Harvesting the grains but you’re right, some of these tik toks are too extra and unrealistic”
