Underwires don’t have to be your enemy, they just need to fit your boobs correctly. I just finished sewing my first underwire bra which is a Madalynne 8229 and it turned out really nicely. It is super supportive and comfortable. I am still figuring out my custom fit for this pattern and I will be needing to make a few minor adjustments to the pattern for the next one that I make to get a truly custom fit. The biggest thing I’ve learned from sewing my own bras is that the better the bra fits the more comfortable the bra will be!
