That sound you hear is the entire pop culture universe uttering, “AGAIN?!” because Carrie and Aidan just hard-launched their relationship on social media over the weekend. Yes, it’s true, there are apparently only two men in all of New York City that Carrie Bradshaw can be with, and Aidan is apparently one of them in the upcoming season of “And Just Like That.”
In a new photo that “And Just Like That” casually dropped on Instagram, Sarah Jessica Parker and John Corbett are seen in character and full costume filming a scene for the upcoming second season of the show.
“Shh. Don’t tell anyone,” the account captioned its Instagram, which showed Parker and Corbett strolling the streets of NYC hand-in-hand.

While it’s hard not to love the nostalgia of it all, one can’t help but wonder (see what I did there?) why on earth Aidan would give this woman the time of day, even after all these years? Sure, bygones can be bygones and they parted (mostly) amicably, but this is the woman who shattered his heart not once but twice.

Perhaps this is redemption for Aidan’s wildly unrealistic, super random guest appearance in Abu Dhabi during the awful, horrible, no-good, very bad “Sex and the City 2” film. Though most of us have erased that whole disaster from our hippocampus, “Men in Black” style.
Either way, people in the comments let the world know they are HERE FOR IT.
While the series clearly still filming, no release date has been set for the second season of “And Just Like That.” But we’ll be here waiting to recap every remarkable moment of the premiere, just for you.
