Not everyone loves a bullet journal (I had a friend once tell me I was trying to con people into doing all visual layout work themselves), but I personally enjoy the empty, dateless, DIY journal method. As a writer, it enables me to intersperse my daily tasks and appointments with story ideas, brainstorms, mood trackers, book reviews, feelings dumps, and anything else I deem worthy of journaling.
It’s an especially good fit for a creative person who might lean a little toward the neurodivergent side (it was specifically created for ADHD adults). Plus, I love to make it look pretty with added doodles and colors, which the thick pages of this particular journal hold exceptionally well.
