Sunrise Medical Acquires Nuprodx Inc., Expanding Its Global Mobility Solutions

Sunrise Medical, a global leader in assistive mobility solutions, is excited to announce the acquisition of Nuprodx Inc., a California-based innovator and manufacturer of bathroom mobility products. This acquisition strengthens Sunrise Medical’s portfolio by adding Nuprodx’s best-in-class bathroom mobility solutions to its existing broad range of assistive mobility solutions.

Founded in 1998 by Bruce Hammer, a former motorcycle racer who became quadriplegic after an accident, Nuprodx is renowned for its patented shower tub slider systems and other bathroom products for mobility impaired users. These systems offer lightweight, portable designs that provide many safety and ease for transport features for users needing seated access to bathtubs and showers.
