Little Liffner’s new woven bag collection features mini, midi, and large styles in neutral leathers that scream “summer.” The chic, relaxed styles are made from vegetable-tanned, naturally dyed leather strips that have been artisanally woven, so you can be confident that your handcrafted bag is one of a kind. As a mini bag lover, I opted for the Mini Leather Basket Bag ($325 $276.25) in light brown. I love how the mini basket bag isn’t too mini and can comfortably fit all my daily essentials. And while I was hesitant about the open top, the heavy “penne” hardware on the flap-over strap actually kept it closed without me worrying about my belongings spilling out. This mini top-handle bag is the perfect vacation style, in my opinion, but I can also see myself wearing the woven style to daytime picnics and al fresco dinners throughout the summer (and for years to come).
Suede is in for summer, and yes, it can be practical. Okay, Little Liffner’s treated suede tote bags may not serve as your next beach bag, but they can be your new work bag, especially since all of the Sprout, Penne, and Tulip styles fit 13-inch laptops.
