Hip-Hop Icon Rakim Unveils ‘Notes,’ an AI-Powered Platform for Aspiring Urban Artists

Hip-hop legend Rakim Allah, the lyrical mastermind behind Eric B. & Rakim, has teamed up with longtime associate Divine to launch Notes, an AI-powered platform designed to revolutionize financial empowerment for independent urban music artists and creators.

Taking inspiration from one of Rakim’s most iconic lyrics—“Don’t Nothing Move But The Money”—Notes aims to bridge the gap between music, money, and knowledge by helping artists secure funding for their projects while providing essential financial literacy and career-building education.

“Independent urban music artists and creators often struggle to gain financial stability despite their market impact,” Rakim said in a statement.
“With Notes, we’re building a community- and lifestyle-driven platform that combines cultural connection, technology, and empowerment to give them the tools they need to thrive.”

How Notes Works

Merging hip-hop and fintech, Notes will operate as a membership-based platform, offering access to financial resources, including loans and credit providers. AI-driven tools will assist artists with financial literacy education and entrepreneurial guidance to help them build sustainable careers.

One standout feature is “Ask RA,” an exclusive AI voice assistant modeled after Rakim’s voice. This virtual guide will provide artists with financial insights and career advice, reinforcing the platform’s commitment to mentorship and empowerment.

“The opportunity to partner with Rakim and build a platform like Notes, to empower and support artists and creators in the urban community who have been underserved and exploited for so long, is unprecedented,” said Divine.

Future Plans for Notes

Beyond financial education and funding access, Notes plans to introduce business banking services, debit cards, peer-to-peer payment solutions, and cryptocurrency options—all designed to provide deeper engagement and long-term value for creators.

Aspiring artists and creators can now join the waitlist for Notes on the Notes Technology website and be among the first to experience this groundbreaking platform.
