Chrissy Teigen’s surrogate speaks out after giving birth to her baby boy

If there’s one thing that’s for sure, it’s that there’s a lot of love going around the Teigen/Stephens family after their surrogate gave birth to their son earlier this month.

Teigen and her husband, John Legend, shared the joyful news yesterday that they’d welcomed their fourth child, Wren, via surrogate on June 19. Now, Chrissy Teigen‘s surrogate, Alexandra, is speaking out after delivering the couple’s son.

Responding to Teigen’s emotional Instagram post on Wednesday, where she calls the surrogate “the most incredible, loving, compassionate surrogate we could ever imagine,” Alexandra responded with her own praise for the family.

“Thank you for choosing me. For making this whole experience so wonderful,” Alexandra writes in a comment. “For loving me and my family whole heartedly. It was truly an honor bringing perfect Wren into the world with you right by my side.”

In Wednesday’s surprise Instagram statement, Teigen opened up about always wanting four children.

“For as long as I can remember, I’ve always wanted four children,” Teigen wrote, revealing she began pursuing surrogacy in 2021 after losing her son, Jack, but before conceiving daughter Esti.

“We want to say thank you for this incredible gift you have given us, Alexandra,” she continued. “And we are so happy to tell the world he is here, with a name forever connected to you, Wren Alexander Stephens.”

And, apropos of nothing, Wren has the best head of hair of any newborn in existence. HOW CUTE IS HE????

We can’t wait to see more of baby Wren and his older siblings Esti, Miles, and Luna.
