Carter’s recently issued a product recall on a yellow fleece footsie-pajama style onesie.
The popular children’s clothing brand, whose parent company is The William Carter Company, has issued the recall because of the presence of “small metal wires” inside of the pajamas.
What is the Carter’s Recall?
A statement on their site says, “Small pieces of metal wire were identified in a limited number of these styles, posing puncture and laceration hazards to young children.” It’s estimated that over 50,000 units were sold.
“Working in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and Health Canada, Carter’s is conducting a voluntary recall of these pajamas sold between July 2022 and September 2022.”
Which style is a part of the baby pajamas recall?
The style that’s being recalled is sold in sizes: 12M, 18M and 24M. The style number is 1O102410 and can be found on the front of the care tag sewn on the inside of the pajamas. The UPC number is printed on the back of the same care tag. The UPC numbers included in the recall are 195861313861, 195861313878, and 195861313885. The UPC and style number can both be found on the tag as well.
